Mass customization is the web-wave we’ve been riding for nearly 10 years now. Along the way we have seen how mass customization companies have sprung up, offering the world personalization possibilities from clothes to chocolate and everything in between.
Germany, and Europe in general, has been a hotspot for mass customization companies with many of them “invading other markets” (we, of course are one of them). Just for comparison, Germany has more than 170 mass customization options, compared to just about 60 in the United States. Carmen Magar provides some insight on why this trend is so much bigger in Germany.
No doubt, personalization and mass customization is the trend – which is why we want to get a little buzz going. This Friday we will be doing so on Facebook. Together with more than 20 other platforms from the US market, we will be advertising our product with a clear “design your own shirt” call to action.
